Who We Are

Dr. E’toile O’Rear-Libbett

Dr. E’toile O’Rear-Libbett, with nearly 40 years in the real estate industry, is the Broker/Owner of Starlite Properties in Southfield, Michigan. She currently serves as president of the Women’s Council of Southeastern Michigan, a local chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers. A past president of the Detroit and Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS® as well as Michigan REALTORS®, Dr. Libbett is a passionate advocate for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity. Over 20 years ago, while chairing the National Association of REALTORS® Cultural Diversity Committee, she helped develop the strategic plan for minority outreach and the original “At Home with Diversity” course.

A Fair Housing and Diversity instructor, she received the Fair Housing Leadership Award in 2005 from the Metropolitan Detroit Fair Housing Center and the Fair Housing Center of Southwest Michigan's award in 2003 for her work in establishing the organization. During the housing crisis, Dr. Libbett served as a certified HUD-approved housing counselor with Mission of Peace, helping to prevent foreclosures and secure loan modifications for Detroit and Dearborn residents.

Farrah Wilder

Farrah Wilder is the founder of heygent, a tech startup that is building a web tool to streamline the process for real estate agents to collaborate with home buyers and make the home buying experience more efficient and seamless. Previously, she was the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for the California Association of REALTORS. 

She has thirteen years of experience as an Oakland, California-based real estate agent, working primarily with first-time home buyers from marginalized communities. She was also a civil rights attorney and now serves on the board of Equal Rights Advocates, a non-profit that champions gender equity in workplaces and schools.
